Treat your child to a week of clay-filled fun and creative discovery. In this five-day summer camp, kids will learn pottery wheel basics, handbuilding and sculpture, glazing, and how to make functional, useful pottery pieces. Every day offers a new hands-on experience in a lively, encouraging studio environment.  Camp meets Monday through Friday for 1 1/2 hours from 1:30–3:00 PM and gives kids a real creative summer adventure. Each child will complete and take home 4 to 5 unique clay projects to treasure and use. July 27 through 31.   Teacher Jane McClure

Everything is provided.  With teacher guidance they'll have an exciting experience learning the pottery wheel and the steps to making dishwasher safe items that the family will use.  Kids will learn throwing and glazing as well.  You will come back later to pick them up when they are fired.  It's held 5 Sundays from 1:30 to 3:00, August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.  No makeups for missed classes.

This one month course introduces students to the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel.Your instructor will cover technique, trimming, and glazing application.  This includes wedging, centering, cylinders, bowls, and surface decoration.  All levels of beginners from first time students to advanced beginners.  Small class size is like having your own coach.  Class includes clay, all tools, and firing.
