Kids Wheel Workshop - February

Kids (7 to 12) will have a great time with making their first bowl on the pottery wheel. This is a one time class for kids. Everything provided. With teacher guidance have an exciting experience learning the pottery wheel and the steps to making a bowl plate or vase. It's a one day event so you choose your glaze and then come back later to pick them up when they are fired. Sign up now. It's Sunday February 23 from 2 to 3:30.

2025 Garden Totems and Animal Sculpture
with Emilie Parker

Learn to make totems and garden art in this 5 day workshop. You'll choose your special animal, sculpt it out of clay, learn animal symbolism of it, and make the companion pieces of your 18" totem. It will become part of your totem pole. We'll enter the exciting world of totems for the garden and you'll be amazed at own your beautiful creative designs. We'll build stacking sculpted elements to create a beautiful totem.
Basic Wheel Throwing for Beginners — March 2025

This one month course introduces students to the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel.Your instructor will cover technique, trimming, and glazing application. This includes wedging, centering, cylinders, bowls, and surface decoration. All levels of beginners from first time students to advanced beginners. Small class size is like having your own coach. Class includes clay, all tools, and firing.

Wednesday Morning Pottery -- March 2025

Each person will have the option to make creative functional items such as bowls and cups as well as simple expressive clay sculpture with instructor guidance. Classes are designed to be repeated in order for students to develop skills and confidence. Tools and equipment are provided.
